Clash Royale is bringing back the 2v2 Ladder for the third time in Season 72.

Merge Tactics
Clash Royale brings back a modified version of Clash Mini - the Merge Tactics. Players trade cards for Golden Elixir and build their army of up to 7 cards. Four players battle against one another in multiple rounds until one remains.

(Modified) Ranked
Path of Legends has been renamed to Ranked. Starting July 2025, Ranked will no longer feature Challenger Leagues. Players begin at Masters 1.
To play the Ranked mode, players need to fulfill either one of the two:
- Reached the Champions League in the previous season.
- Reach Seasonal Arena in Trophy Road.
(Extended) Trophy Road
Trophy Road extends to 10,000+ Trophies.
- Legendary Arena moves to 9500 Trophies.
- A new arena, Valkalla, joins Clash Royale (8500 Trophies, Arena 23).
- Seasonal Arenas unlock beginning 10,000 Trophies.
