Clash Royale published an Update Trailer on its social media titled “Goblin Queen's Takeover.” Closer attention to the story building suggests that the Goblins have abducted the King (the King that resides in the King Tower).
The Goblins attacked the King's ship and brought him over to their Queen, the Goblin Queen. In the final few shots of the video, the Queen steals the crown from the King and places it over her head. Subsequently, she makes a statement,
So you see. The Goblins are ready to take over. It's time for a Queen to RULE the arena.
This statement suggests that we will see the Goblin Queen as a new King Tower Card similar to the alternatives for the Tower Troop.

Clash Royale posted an Instagram story featuring a goblin. In the caption, Clash Royale wrote “The Goblins are coming.” The following story zoomed in on the Goblin and wrote, “Our Queen is coming.”
