The Dark Elixir Event

The Dark Elixir event will last from 25 November to 2 December in Season 65 of Clash Royale. Additionally, this will be the final event of this season.

Dark Elixir is back. Step in at your own risk! Your troops get double the speed but take twice the damage. 3 losses and you're out!

Mode Mechanism

Dark Elixir spell spawns randomly in the Arena. If your troop is in its radius, its speed doubles. This effect applies to both its movement and hit speeds. However, the troop's hitpoints also reduces to half.

Winning Strategy

Use quick cycle decks, such as the Log Bait.

When troops are within the Dark Elixir, they take twice the damage. Hence, tanks such as P.E.K.K.A. and Mega Knight are ineffective in this mode. Those troops are known for their high hitpoints. Instead, troops having lower hitpoints but high hit speed or damage are favorable. For example, Dart Goblin has a high hit speed and Wall Breakers have high damage.

Choose low elixir and offensive spam cards. To win the challenge, players must aim to maintain constant pressure against the opponent using spam cards such as Skeleton Barrel and Dart Goblin. In double elixir, players can pressure their opponents using high-elixir spam cards such as the Royal Recruits. With Recruits, players can maintain double lane pressure.

Avoid using Hog Rider. Inside the Dark Elixir, a hog rider survives no longer than 2 seconds against the Skeleton Army.
