Understanding the game mode
Touchdown is a race between your and your opponent's cards to reach the finish line first. Each of you lures your cards - single or multiple - at your ends. Play cards to prevent your opponent's cards from reaching the end line.

Winning Strategy
Offense is the best defense
Players are using multiple win conditions in the same deck. Deploying a Ram Rider towards the leftmost side and a Hog Rider at the rightmost side simultaneously forces the opponent to defend both lanes, wasting their elixir.
Each second matters; buy additional time
Could your hog rider have crossed the finish line if the opponent's piggy had not crossed the finish line? Then, freeze the opponent's piggies. Your hog rider is low on points, do you wish to snipe any buildings on its way? Use Lightning. Use spells to buy additional time in defense or offense.
