Clash Royale Esports announced the roadway to the 2025 Clash Royale League, the highest level of Competitive Clash Royale. Fans will witness 4 Qualifying Events, 1 Last Chance Qualifier, and 1 China-only event. From across these tournaments, 12 Clashers will seal their spots in the Grand Finals of the Clash Royale League
Path to Clash Royale League Grand Finals
The Grand Final of the Clash Royale League (CRL) is an invite-only tournament.
Golden Tickets
A player must earn a Golden Ticket to qualify. In 2025, Clash Royale is distributing 12 Golden Tickets to CRL 2025 through the following [2.1.9, CRL25 Rulebook]:
- Four (4) Golden Tickets will be awarded to the first-place winner of the Event Finals
- Six (6) Golden Tickets will be awarded to the top six Players on the CRL Leaderboard that do not already hold a Golden Ticket from the Event Finals.
- One (1) Golden Ticket will be awarded to the winner of the Last Chance Qualifiers.
- One (1) Golden Ticket will be awarded to a player through a separate competition in China. Only players residing within China will be eligible to participate.
Silver Tickets
Players who are unable to earn a Golden Ticket through the Event Finals or CRL Leaderboard can still earn a Silver Ticket to qualify for the Last Chance Qualifiers. A total of twelve (12) Silver Tickets will be awarded through the following:
- Four (4) Silver Tickets will be awarded to the runner-ups of the Event Finals.
- Eight (8) Silver Tickets will be awarded to Players who finish between seventh (7th) and fourteenth (14th) place on the CRL Leaderboard and do not already hold a Golden or Silver Ticket from the Event Finals.
Only one of the twelve silver tickets will turn into a Golden Ticket.
Monthly Golden Ticket Events
In 2024, Clash Royale organized Monthly Qualifiers to award one Golden Ticket each month for a total of 5 Golden Tickets.
In 2025, Clash Royale renamed the Monthly Qualifiers to Golden Ticket Events. Furthermore, these events will only happen four times a year and will be organized by four top-tier organizations, but not Clash Royale Esports.
The winners of these events, who receive the Golden Ticket, will secure their spot in the CRL Grand Finals. Second-place players will receive a Silver Ticket that earns them their spot in the Last Chance Qualifiers.
All athletes who make it to the Monthly Golden Ticket Events will earn CRL Competitive Points.

Clash Royale released the monthly schedule for CRL 2025 qualification on 25 April 2024. The Monthly Qualifiers begin in May and end in September. Find a detailed list in the table below:

How to qualify for a CRL Monthly Golden Ticket Event?
The top 1000 players from Clash Royale's Global Path of Legends leaderboards get shortlisted for the CRL Monthly Golden Ticket Events. These thousand players compete against one another in an official environment until only 12 players remain.
Clash Royale will host a Monthly Event Finals featuring each of the 12 players to determine the recipient of the Golden Ticket, starting May 2025.
Last Chance Qualifier
The Last Chance Qualifier will run on 20-21 September, 2025. A total of 12 players participate in this online event. Only the winner proceeds to the World Finals.

CRL Leaderboard: Competitive Points
Players gain CRL Competitive Points by competing in the Golden Ticket Events. The player who finishes top in the CRL Competitive Leaderboards and who has not earned a Golden Ticket will receive an invite to the CRL World Finals.
